Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art - Artist Market

Good morning!

Here is some info for the next artshow!




The Leepa-Rattner Museum of art will host a two-day Artists Market that will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 27, 2011 from 1-5 p.m. and admission is free.

Over twenty-five local artists using a wide variety of media will display and sell their artwork in support of the museum and Isabelle’s Museum Store.

I would also like to anounce that this will be Jen's (my sister) first artshow! she is a photograoher and has many beautiful images for all to see! Her shop is called Digital Cherry and you can find her on Facebook as Jennifer Sweeney (Digital Cherry).

So come out and check us out, it will be an indoor show (yay air-conditioning!) and there will be activities for children as well.

Dabaling in a new medium

Hello all,
todays post is going to be about me dabaling in a new medium and form of art persay.

A friend of mine is a racecar driver for the local tracks here in FL. We got to talking about him needing a sponsor for his team and I said why not have David (my husband - Dave Adams Auto Repair) be a sponsor. I would create the design and buy it for his car. Then one thing lead to another and I discovered he had computer software, large cutter "printer" and vinyl matieral at his shop! Soooo, I have created his hood design, side door and top of car designs. Next is learning the program (which should be pretty easy with my background) and test out the designs. I have already recieved another "order" from his friend to design his numbers!

Keeping my fingers crossed that this becomes a new outlet for my creativityand this could blow up to a new business for me! There are many drivers at these tracks who will always need a new vinyl for thier cars when they get into fender benders...

I'll keep everybody updated on the progress of this venture.

Happy New Year! Hey, better late than never!

Hey everyone!

Sorry its been a awhile, with the new year brings a new job for me and a car accident on the first of january that thankfully everybody was ok!

I have two new shows coming up this Spring:

1. Artist Market at The Leepa-Rattner Mueum of Art in Tarpon Springs, March 26-27.

2. Art in the Park in Oldsmar at the R.E. Olds Park on Saturday, April 16, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

I am currently looking for more show and will update the schedule accordingly.
